Unlocking Opportunity Tools
ASA provides data support for the Unlocking Opportunity initiative, and collaborated with The Aspen Institute and CCRC to create the Enrollment Analysis Tool. The tools allows institutions to dive into their data to visualize patterns and opportunities for growth.
Aspen shared, “We’re thrilled to unveil the Unlocking Opportunity Program classification tools—designed to help your college drive more students into high-value programs that lead to well-paying jobs or successful transfers.”
Unlocking Opportunity’s objectives are: (1) to increase the number of students in high-value programs that lead directly to a well-paid job or to transfer and a bachelor’s degree in the student’s field of interest, and (2) to decrease the number of students in lower-opportunity pathways that are unlikely to prepare them for good jobs or further education at the bachelor’s level and beyond.
